Spotting a natural rough diamond from normal waste rock is an act in itself. Missing even one diamond in your pan or sluice box can represent a significant loss.
I realize there isn't much good information out there on identifying these valuable stones, and when you're looking at a mass of similar pebbles as you're sorting through them, it literally pays to know what to look for.
